Data Flow
MNP and SMS data flow through the HORISEN platform are presented in the following sections with data flow diagrams.
The data flow diagram provides a straightforward way to understand the process. Data flow diagrams are visual representations of the flow of data through the system and its logic.
Inbound SMS API v2.0.0
Inbound SMS Service provides real-time MO SMS forwarding to third-party systems (referred to as 'Customer' in the following text). MO messages are received, for example, on global numbers.
Premium Transit API
The MO-MT SMS Transmission System enables the receiving of MO (Mobile Originated) SMS messages and the sending of MT (Mobile Terminated) SMS messages via the standard HTTP protocol.
Optionally, session handling of MO messages is supported. For details, see the Appendices section.
SMS API
Integrating a robust SMS API into your business infrastructure allows you to automate communication and reach customers instantly on their most-used devices. Earlier SMS HTTP(S) API versions (v4.1.0, v5.0.3, v5.0.4, v5.0.6, v5.0.7) are preserved in the Archive for teams maintaining legacy integrations.
